This is a unique Winter Experience.
Visit Greenland - the largest Ice cap in the world. The largest Island in the world.
The island, a territory of Denmark, lies approx 4 hrs flying time from Copenhagen.
There are no roads in Greenland connecting the cities. You can fly between the cities or go the coastal route.
On this amazing trip to Greenland, we fly to Nuuk from Copenhagen and after a couple of nights in the capital, we fly on to Illulissat - where you will be charmed by the remoteness of the small fishing town that overlooks Disco Bay.
We go by snowcat in to the heart of the back country and you have the chance to Experience sleeping in an igloo for the night. If it gets too cold for you, you can always opt for the 'warm room' . You will be given an Expedition sleeping bag, a hot water bottle and the igloo will be lit with cosy tea lights to welcome you for your overnight experience.
The northern lights ? Well, we don't obviously guarantee them but there is every change you will get to witness them in this remote part of the island.
Boat trip - We include a boat trip amongst the glaciers of Disco Bay. What an incredible sight that is!
Igloo Experience
You will have included in the cost of your trip - an expedition to the Back country to sleep in an igloo.
Yes - a real igloo built out of snow and ice.
If you get too cold in the night, you can always opt out and there will be a 'warm room' for you to get toasty in in the main lodge.
Small Group Experience
This is a guaranteed small group experience.
