Almaty - the modern city that is the business hub of Central Asia.  Its modern underground metro system, the trendy European cafes, the parks and the murals are just some of the sights you will discover in this vibrant city which really sits at a crossroads where ASIA meets Europe.

Fergana Valley - surrounded by the Tien Shan mountain range, this most fertile valley in Central Asia is where the fruit, nuts, silk, cotton, vegetables is still a rich oasis today.

Tashkent - One of the oldest cities in Uzbekistan and the capital.

Ashgabat - the White Capital city of Turkmenistan

Bukhara - The ancient city - A UNESCO site - an oasis in the desert

Samarkand - A UNESCO world heritage site and known as the 'crossroads of cultures"

Bishek - Here you will witness some traditional horse games.

Khiva - cross the desert in 4x4's - the same route that the camels took on the ancient silk route.

The Gates of Hell - the flaming as field that still burns today turning the night sky bright orange,

We have included train rides, 4x4 rides, domestic flights, fabulous accommodation throughout ranging from amazing hotels that once hosted Brezhnev to yurts in the desert with en suite facilities.

Note: Due to the remoteness of some of the locations we visit, the bureaucracy we encounter along the way - you will need to pack a good deal of patience and humour. Good fitness is required for this trip.

You will also be expected to wheel your luggage through rough terrain across the borders where will be expected to walk approx 100m across borders.
